Exciting awards are up for grabs at the 30th anniversary Open Door Classic 5k walk and run to end poverty! Church awards include the church who raises the most money to end poverty, the church with the most participation, and the David and Goliath Award, which goes to a smaller church who makes the biggest impact on the event. We also have the Spirit Award which is for the group which demonstrates the most enthusiasm. The individual who raises the most money will be awarded a gift certificate from Epic Restaurant for an eight course dinner for six guests valued at $800 (some restrictions apply)! The 30th Annual Open Door Classic Walk and 5k Run to end poverty.
Live music provided by the Eminent Worship Band!
Individuals or teams are welcome.
5k registration fee is $25 in advance or $30 the day of the event.
A suggested donation of $25 is requested for the walk.

Where?
The event will be at Woodruff Park in Uptown Columbus at the corner of Bay Avenue and 10th Street.

The route will wind along the Riverwalk, Broaway and First Avenue through Uptown Columbus.
When?
Saturday, March 4th.
5k registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and the run begins at 9:00. Walk registration begins at 8:30and the walk starts at 9:30.
Why?
To raise awareness of the needs of our neighbors who live in poverty and funds to address those needs.
